Meet the Owners

Glenn Iveson

I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree. After working as a corporate pilot for 15 years, and being on the road 180 nights a year, I decided I wanted to be home more to help raise my family. In 1999 I decided to start a lawn fertilization company with the help of my brother Bob Iveson and our friend Pat Zacharias. We decided to create a company that would put emphasis on the customer and not our bottom line. I think that is why our main source of new customers comes from referrals from our existing customers. When I am not working with Greenblade One I enjoy coaching my kids' sports teams and traveling with my family.

Pat Zacharias

Upon entering the workforce after graduating from Addison High School, I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted to do, but knew that I wanted to work outside with people. I went to work for a national lawn care company which gave me the opportunity to work with people outdoors. I learned how to fertilize lawns, care for trees and landscape. After 5 years of this activity, I had an offer to move into a different market working with Hostess / Wonder Bread as a sales person. Upon learning and growing this market for several years, I was once again approached by a couple of guys that wanted to start up a no-nonsense, customer friendly, lawn care company. Since I previously knew lawn care and I now had the chance to run my own business, I jumped at the opportunity and never looked back. Greenblade One was the name of that little company!

Mike Crabb

I graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy with a B.A. In Business Administration. I worked for 26 years in materials management for a company that started small but evolved into a Fortune 500 company. When I was approached to be part of Greenblade One's vision as a start-up, I was impressed by the company's good core values and I jumped at the opportunity to help grow another business from the ground up. Working directly with people and their lawns provided an excellent avenue for me to learn the lawn care industry and help grow our business. My hobbies include golf, football, and weight training. In my free time I work with high school kids in their development in strength training and coach high school football.

    Bob Iveson

After graduating from Adrian College with a B.B.A. in 1982, I entered into the lawn care industry. I worked for a national lawn care company for 16 years before leaving and starting my own landscape company. After 10 years growing it into a premier company, I joined Greenblade One. I enjoy working with our employees and customers in building the best lawn care company Michigan has ever seen. Our goal is to provide only what a customer needs, in the most affordable way possible.
